
Host Pool Information
Requirements for Home Host Pool
Pool to be accessible by side gate or by walking around to pool location.
The pool must be in-ground.
Allow home pool to be used by Certified ISR Instructor for a minimum of 3 hours.
Allow Instructor to use pool Monday-Friday for the same 3-hour block of time each day.
Allow instructor use of the pool to be used for the entire 6-week session.
Pool temperature to be maintained between 78-88 degrees Fahrenheit (heated pool).
Chemical levels maintained.
Bathroom access is not required.
If inclement weather happens and lesson cancellation occurs, Instructor may ask the host pool to conduct possible make-up lessons as needed on occasional weekends.
Requirements for Certified ISR Instructor
Maintain liability Insurance (will provide a copy to the homeowner).
Maintain ISR certification (will provide a copy to the homeowner).
Maintain CPR/AED First Aid certification (will provide a copy to the homeowner).
Will have each family parent/participant complete a liability waiver.
Will conduct ISR lessons only to those students that have completed the National ISR registration requirement.
Advertise session for host pool location.
Benefits for Host Pool
Children of host pool homeowners get reduced or free ISR lesson fees (value is $750+ per child). ISR registration will be required to be paid for and completed by the host pool family for each child ($105.00 per child, non-refundable, without exceptions).
No need to travel to a location for lessons.
